Here's a question for you lot.

[ Today finds Ronald under a tree, enjoying the weather as he uses Barkley (now a houndoom) as a pillow. ]

Color a bloke curious but... how'd you come up with names for your pokemon? Ever fancy naming them after anyone from home?

I've heard it from a good source that it's worth looking at. Thought my travelling chum might appreciate it.

I'm with my boss from home. Just couldn't leave it to my poor bleeding heart to let him wander about on his lonesome.

And you? Wouldn't be right for a lass like yourself to be travelling alone.

I made friends here, so I'm okay. I'm travelling with someone I met.

See, that's where everyone seems to get it all wrong. We don't kill anyone. That's against the rules, mind. We're just there to collect the soul when someone dies... make sure no nasty demons get to it first.

That's prolly not what people've said from the fairy stories but there you are.

_{[Oh. Well, that kind of makes sense, doesn't it? He's different from the killer she does know. He seems nice. Not scary. So she can believe him for that reason, or at least start to.]}

I can't remember. But someone else told me pokémon can't die either, and I believe them, cause they don't get very hurt even if they fight a lot.

S'long as we take them to the Center when they get knocked out...

Bit odd though, don't you think? With the people and all?

Yeah, I guess. But I think it's a good thing. I hate when people die.

S'not an easy thing to see, no.

[ And a sigh as he looks up. ]

Course, I might've been that way once but do the job long enough and it just kind of becomes a job.
