Here's a question for you lot.

[ Today finds Ronald under a tree, enjoying the weather as he uses Barkley (now a houndoom) as a pillow. ]

Color a bloke curious but... how'd you come up with names for your pokemon? Ever fancy naming them after anyone from home?

S'that right? I've always wanted to see the world! On my own time, of course. Work doesn't let me have that leisure, m'afraid.

What's the best spot out here then? Somewhere good to see?

The best? Let's see, now...

[That is one very difficult question, good sir.]

I am quite fond of Mt. Moon's summit at midnight, but I'll admit that is mostly due to sentimental attachment. The Ice Cave is gorgeous, in a cold sort of way... And the cape at the end of route 25 is always a very popular destination for tourists.

'Preciate the tipoff! I've been getting hints here and there as to where we should go so there's a few more places to add to the list.

Only a few months? You still have much to see, discover and catch, then. believe me, after the first fifty Pokémon names become much more difficult to find.

Oh m'sure! We've only started collecting badges, really. We've still a whole world to explore and I've every intention of seeing it.

How long've you been here, then?

four years and seven months. Long enough to explore this world, grow tired of exploring this world, and decide to explore this world all over again.

[ And a long, impressed whistle. ]

Cor blimey... four years, eh? That's a bleeding long time! How'd you stop yourself from going mad?

Lots of Pokémon, lots of work, lots of travel, and a great appreciation for new and temporary friendships.

I can imagine.

[ Because whew, that's a long time even by mortal standards. ]

You sir have my utmost respect for not having gone barmy!

I shall do my very best to keep that respect. This world is lovely; it'd be a shame to let madness stop me from appreciating it.

Now that's a way of looking at it, innit!

After four years, you have to learn to see the good in our situation, unless you wish to be miserable.

Besides, there's plenty to do! M'sure time'll go by just like that.

Oh, it will. Someday you'll wake up, and realize that you've not seen anyone from your world in over two years. Or three.

...blimey, mate, when you put it that way it sounds like a kick to the teeth.

...You'll also realize that you've spent just as long with your beloved Pokémon, of course.

Well, that's one good thing about it, innit?

That, and all those potential new friendships awaiting us all.
